Niall appeared in this Canadian dark-comedy, as Andrew, the violent estranged husband of the deceased titular Ally (Arielle Rombough).
The film tells the story of two best friends (Charlie Carrick and Giacomo Baessato), who conspire to keep the truth about a winning lottery ticket they discover following the death of their friend Ally. They try to keep its existence from the executor of her will, Ally’s sister Casey (Camille Sullivan), who would want it to be redirected to the rightful heir, Ally’s violent estranged husband, played by Niall.
The film premiered at the Calgary International Film Festival in September 2015.
Niall was nominated for a 2015 AMPIA (Rosie) Award for his role in the film, (Best Performance by an Alberta Actor).
